Toastmasters International is a non-profit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills. As the Toastmasters Society we focus on grooming future leaders instilling confidence and self-respect. The society lives by its motto which states ″Where leaders are made”
Scripture Union
The Scripture Union Club’s aim is to make God’s good news known to the people and staff of the College. Scripture Union allows one to express and share their perspectives on God’s word according to their beliefs. The clubs activities involve representing Jesus well, with the main scripture being:. Luke 9:26. The club encourages students within the school to meet God daily through the Bible and prayer so that they may come to the personal faith of Jesus and Christian maturity.
Science Club
Science club fuels the wonder and the joy of learning science in interactive, fun, informative, challenging and informal ways. The objective of the club is to develop a general interest in science and to stimulate active participation among students. Problem solving is a big key in the Science club. Current problems are analysed in multiple ways in an attempt to finding solutions.
Debate Club
In 2019 for the first time the club participated in the Skyz Metro Annual Public Speaking Competition. Cindy Matsa represented the school well and she took 6th place out of eleven other speakers who participated
Conservation Club
Conservation club is a club that mainly focuses on the preservation and improvement of the eco system and earth as a whole. The club’s aim is to nip the problem of the ever degenerating state of the earth in the bud. The club participates in every year on tree pnating days.. The club intends extending its program by planting exotic trees as it planted indigenous trees last year, so as to create a balance in the biodiversity around the school and community. The Conservation Club is not only the emissary of the school but of the whole planet as its only purpose is improving it so their noble cause is to be respected and we urge everyone to also plant trees and try reducing the carbon foot prints
Junior Parliament of Zimbabwe
The Junior Parliament was established in 1991. It is an exact replica of the senior parliament of Zimbabwe. It is administered by the Zimbabwe Youth Council and was created by government to ensure child participation in decision making process while providing a platform for leadership development of young people.
Objectives of the Junior Parliament
- Raise awareness on children’s issues to children, duty bearers and the community at large
- Provide a platform for children to raise concerns and aspirations for peace and development.
- To enhance children’s leadership qualities, advocacy and lobbying skills
- To promote the participation and empowerment of children in all sectors of the economy
Interact Rotary
“Service above Self”, is what we strive for. The Interact’s mission is to assist Orphanages, Old Age Homes and other needy bodies in our society by donating food, clothes, blankets and any other donations that can be of assistance to these organisations.
Media Club
The club covers all types of College and outside activities and events. It promotes the College’s image locally and nationally via different use of media channels. Students are the main body of the club and they contribute stories, photos, videos and articles about the College, Media Club provides students with the opportunity to express and develop their ideas and talent through media, technology and communication. Media Club combines several skills and ideas to end up with a creative product. Any student who is creative and willing to learn is welcomed to join and become a member of this ever growing group. Media Club is the place for creativity and “Sky is the limit”.
Art Club
A club where students have a safe environment to explore the visual arts, craft making and experimenting with different materials to develop their imaginery and creative skills.
